Does God Exist?
A participatory data collection project exploring the views on God and religion among students at IIT Hyderabad.
Duration: MAR-APR 2024
Recognition: The project showcased at the Visualising Knowledge Conference at the Aalto University in Finland.

Overview
The Indian Institute of Technology is known for its scientific research and innovation. Yet, in a country where religion is a core part of identity, this creates an interesting contrast. Recent news reports suggesting non-secular practices on campus prompted us to explore what students at IIT Hyderabad truly believe. Over three days, the installation engaged around 300 participants at an institute recognized for science and entrepreneurship. It offered a space for dialogue, debate, and honest reflection, revealing the diverse beliefs and experiences within the campus community. The project was later selected as one of 12 works to be showcased at Aalto University’s Visualising Knowledge conference in 2025.
